TERMS OF SERVICE

The agreement covering this website and the Brutus private beta.

Last updated November 5, 2026

These terms cover two things: this website, and the Brutus private beta. If your organization has signed a separate agreement with us for consulting work or for Brutus, that agreement governs the work it describes and these terms fill the gaps around it.

Who we are

Tenger Ways, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company, with an office at 156 Chappaqua Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. We are a technology consulting firm, and we build and operate Brutus, an AI workspace that joins a team where it already works. “We,” “us” and “Tenger” mean Tenger Ways, LLC. “You” means the person reading this, and where you are acting for an organization, that organization too.

Using this website

The site is here to be read. You may read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it. You may not scrape it to train a model, resell it, or present it as your own. The words, the design and the marks on it are ours.

The numbers on this site are illustrations unless a page says otherwise. Prices, token costs and the sample week are modelled from the published rates named on each page, not quotes. The only binding price is the one in a signed order.

The private beta

Brutus is in private beta. Access is granted by invitation, for evaluation, and we may change or withdraw it. A beta is unfinished software: expect defects, expect features to move, and do not route work through it that you cannot afford to have interrupted. We will tell you before anything you rely on changes, and we will not delete your data without notice.

During the beta there is no uptime commitment and no service credit. When Brutus leaves beta, a service agreement replaces this section, and we will not move you onto it without asking.

Your account and your people

You are responsible for who you let into your workspace and for what they do there. Keep credentials to the people who need them. Tell us promptly if an account is compromised. Each person who uses Brutus is covered by these terms, and your organization’s administrator sets the spend caps and the autonomy setting that decide what Brutus may do without asking.

Your content stays yours

Everything you put into Brutus, and everything it produces for you, belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train models for anyone else, and what Brutus learns from your work stays scoped to your organization, as described on the memory page. We process your content to run the service for you, and to the extent that content includes personal data, the Data Processing Agreement governs how.

We need a narrow licence to do the obvious: to store your content, move it between the systems you connect, show it back to your team, and send it to the model providers listed in Subprocessors so that the work gets done. That licence exists only to run the service and ends when your content is deleted.

What Brutus does, and what it does not

Brutus drafts, routes, reconciles and prepares work. It is a tool operated by your people, not a professional adviser. Its output is not legal, tax, accounting, medical or investment advice, and a person on your team is accountable for what is done with it. Anything that leaves your walls waits for a person to release it.

Use of Brutus is also subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.

Fees

Outside the beta, Brutus is billed per user per month plus tokens at cost with no markup, at the rates published on the pricing page or in your order. Token charges follow actual use and are capped by the spend caps your administrator sets. We will not charge you past a cap you set.

Ending it

You can stop using the service whenever you like, and ask us to delete your data. We can end beta access with notice, or immediately if use breaks the Acceptable Use Policy or the law. When access ends we will give you a reasonable window to export your content before deleting it.

Warranties and liability

The website and the beta are provided as they are, without warranty. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free during the beta.

Neither side is liable to the other for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from these terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where your organization has signed an agreement with us, the liability terms in that agreement apply instead of this paragraph.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the service, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, together with applicable U.S. federal law.

No claim arising out of these terms may be brought more than twenty-four months after the party bringing it first knew, or had reason to know, that the claim had accrued. This shortens, and never extends, any limitation period that applicable law otherwise provides.

Notices

Written notice to us goes to Tenger Ways, LLC, 156 Chappaqua Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. Notice is effective on delivery if delivered personally, on receipt if sent by registered or certified mail or by a tracked overnight courier, and on confirmation of receipt if sent by email. We will give you notice at the email address on your account.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will say so before it takes effect, by email to the address on your account or a notice in the product, and the date at the top of this page will move. Continuing to use the service after that date means the new terms apply.

Questions

Write to hello@tengerways.com and a person will answer. If a term here conflicts with a signed agreement between us, the signed agreement wins.
